  Stories of the Harvest Dance
A fun and educational program to offer your community. Experience Harvest Dances from different parts of Africa and the Caribbean. Enjoy uplifting traditional stories of communities working together. Hear soothing rhythms while learning symbols present in the dance movements!
"Your African dance workshop also successfully crossed cultural barriers. You did a wonderful job welcoming children to your culture through dance."

  African Dance and Culture Workshop
An enlightening dance experience that explores the language of traditional West African dance. Students will learn dances for different social occasions and where applicable we highlight what each individual movement symbolizes. We examine ways that dance is used to build community and even document history. This workshop is a perfect complement to classroom studies on traditional Africa.

  Creative Writing Bootcamp
An intense crash course that offers the basics in poetry, playwriting and short fiction. The workshop is composed of a series of exercises designed to encourage imagination and introduce technique. Students research, write and perform a stage presentation of a work they compose during the course of the residency.
